Hello to Everyone!

First off, I would like to say thank you to all of my students for surprising me on Thursday with a big cake for my birthday. I was teaching class, counting as always, 1,2,3, 5,6,7, and all of a sudden, I see all of my students from different classes come in singing happy birthday. It was very sweet and shocking to say the least. Then again on Sunday at the Hacienda right after class I got 2 big cakes, it was a good thing too because I was starving! After the birthday song I ate about 7 slices. So once again thank you all for your birthday wishes and the cakes, I do have the best students. On the other hand don't get any ideas I'm still gonna kick your butts in class.

In other news my Hustle class has been well attended we now have about 12 to 15 people on average so it lots of fun. In addition, I will be DJing once a month at the Hacienda. It's become a hobby of mine and I welcome all of you to come hang out and listen to great music, maybe dance a little hustle. It's fun and helps with your salsa skills as well. I also play a couple of salsa songs throughout the evening.

Staring Monday, March 1st there will be a new Advanced Salsa class at 8:00pm. I have been asked repeatedly for an advanced class and this class is for those dancers that know salsa but want to get to the next level. It's a 6-week series class, it will focus on great turn patterns and how to get the most from leading and following them. In other words, I will go over how to actually dance these difficult moves not just get through it. In addition, I will be DJing that night so that we can practice what we've learned. The 6-week series is only $70 so it's a great deal and the dance social is free.
